What is my life philosophy?

Throughout the eighteen years of my existence, I have one philosophy, which is to never give up. I realize that this may sound a little corny, and is used commonly. But my view, my way of living is sorely based upon that. This is also something similar to Winston Churchill’s idea; in his speech he included the words “never, never, never, never give up,” something very similar to my idea. At a young age, I’ve been hearing people saying that perseverance is the virtue to succeed in life; I’ve come to see that as something that is true, whenever something is presented before me, I quickly make my decisions. That was a decision a made a long time ago.
Some say a person deserves a second chance; others say that a person will never change. Based on my philosophy, I come to see that people will indeed not change, speaking of the majority. Which is why during criminal investigations, police officers usually search people with records because they will not stop, and it is embedded into their genes. People are just naturally born evil; it is up to the individual to see if they want to take that evil and actually make something happen from it. This is due to the individuals lacking perseverance; people that tend to break the law are people that tend to give up quicker than those who try, those who try usually will succeed.
No on e wants to be a failure in life, each person has their own philosophy, and it is because of that philosophy that brings them that success or that failure. It is up to us, the individual, to actually follow the words of the wise and experience to never make that same mistake. Why not take the path that is already cleared? In Chinese culture, there is this wise saying, “not listening to the old, failure lies ahead.” My philosophy, my ways of thinking, my personality, are gifts from those experienced to me. Taking their ideas, deciding whether or not to follow them is totally up to me, but not giving up has got me through a lot of things. Occasionally, there are times where I know that I am not going to succeed and give up, but most of the times I remember that we will never know the end until we try.
The human mind is a powerful tool, it tells us right and wrong, and it tells us good or bad. There are a part of us that tells us to give up; I suppose that that is the part of the evil within us. While the other part tells us to not give up, like I said, it we completely up to us to decide which conscience to follow. Many believe that there are demons inside of us, trying to control us. But whenever there is evil, there is balance to counter it. For every yin, there is a yang. Never give up and never back down!
