Book Review Wuthering Heights

A classic romantic novel in which an adopted boy falls in love with his step sister, the never ending love in which they share was then interrupted by the choice she made later on in her life. Catherine and Heathcliff the main characters, were never afraid to express and show their love until she decided to abandon Heathcliff comes the inevitable future of disaster, resulting both Heathcliff and Catherine’s death. The novel is considered one of the best novel’s from the 1800s written by Emily Bronte, one of the famous Bronte sisters. Guiding readers through the feeling and hatred of those who mistreated Heathcliff, bearing the pain and hate for so long was finally then unleashed upon Catherine to seek revenge for what she had done to him.
Not completely understanding the situation, both characters remain a love spot for each other but no longer expressing it. As readers may come to realize that Heathcliff is not such a bad person after all instead a person who is unable to go on bearing the pain that he had kept in all those years, the day he had entered Wuthering Heights he was considered family until the death of the adoptive father. Mistreated from then on, he became the house servant.
As time passes he now has possession of Wuthering Heights and the love of his life had passed giving birth, the loneliness he now carries haunts him and for what he had done, expressing his anger towards Catherine’s daughter whom reminds him of the past because of her spinning image of her mother. Praying one day Catherine’s ghost will seek revenge; Heathcliff waited eighteen years until she finally came. Now they are able to spend an eternity together happily.

Junior Statesmen Program Article by Samson Hsieh

Summer break approaching, some students should and may consider the junior statesmen program. Junior statesmen program offers a chance for students to encounter or experience the college life before they actually enters one, usually takes place around top colleges for example Yale, Stanford, or Harvard. Although it could be school related it offers many opportunities for students to interact with one another and get to know the region better. Such programs are useful for students in order to get them to apply there or just to make them understand the place a little better of course benefiting the school. Price is nonnegotiable and is way high, not including the air fare covering the shelter and food for a certain period of time the longer the stay the longer the price. The program includes junior statesmen summer school and institute, main point of the junior statesmen is to acquire leadership skills and knowledge to be good citizens and making the right decisions as voters. The program itself is both local and national organized by the states, since the discovery of JSA by Professor E.A Rogers in 1934 there has been 500,000 members including Mike McCurry and Charles Schwab. “I don’t know if im going, im going to visit my parents in Guam and I don’t know but maybe, if it’s not that expensive I might. I think Mr. Tessen made it too interesting.” State James Kim from the junior class. Not many junior from school are absolutely positive in joining the junior statesmen program but it could be a once in a lifetime opportunity and gives great benefit for students deciding a place that they might want to go to college. the main problem is that the distance between the CNMI and the States is way too far otherwise some people and mainly parents might decide whether he/she and their children should join the program.

Choice of Location of Choosing Colleges or Universities

Majority of students love places that are suitable for their lifestyle and comfortable to live in, weathers and temperature plays a very important role in this matter. People tend to choose the state of California to live in because of its nice warm temperature and beautiful beaches with a good of amount of sunshine. Places like the north tend to be less populated but for a person who does like the freezing temperature it is probably more suitable for them to go to a school that is located somewhere cool. As statistics have shown California’s population is having a significant increase of population, “I like it where it’s cool you know, like places with no tornadoes or lightning storms and stuff like that. I don’t like it too hot either.” Said Michael Stuart from the senior class. A place that has all seasons is probably the best for most people because the weather seems to be balanced plus it makes people experience winter and summer not just one season all the time like Saipan. People like to experience cold weathers temporary, basically a time when specific season starts. More than half of the senior class like places that has all seasons and not a place that is continuously hot, a good amount of the junior class also plans on going somewhere that contains good weather and most importantly safety. “I don’t want to live in a place that constantly has drive by shooting and street thugs that are ready to mug you any time.” Says James Kim from the junior class. Most important things to look for in a good school are its surrounding and environment that best suits the person that are planning on going there especially if they are going to live and work there for the next four years.

A Break From School

How much I want to have a break from school, during school days from the start I wanted to have a nice time off with my buddies. I have been thinking about what to do during my break and when my break finally comes we’re going to go out and have some fun. Every weekend we go out to enjoy ourselves a nice night of pool and then we probably go drive around the island doing what we think is fun, that’s the definition of fun to me and my friends. Again to whomever that reads my passage, please note that I am not some dorky little kid or some guy writing this. I’m a good looking and hot guy who will accept any hot girls phone number, please again not the word “Hot.” Okay, enough with reaching out to my audience I’m going to continue my imagination of my wondrous break. To most teen’s out there that actually go to school, looks forward for the two day break every week. Imagine that every day is a Saturday, life itself becomes a blast. A weekend is my time to do whatever I feel like doing, which is having fun if and it have not get what I’m writing so far you have some kind of mental issue. People believe the definition of fun is actually having fun but really the true definition of fun is relaxing, having a break on our little island does bring some enjoyment but not a whole lot, messing around with tourist mainly chicks is the best kind of enjoyment we have. Saipan again is not widely known but when It comes to relaxing it gets really quiet, it gets so quiet people don’t want it to stay quiet that’s how quiet it really is. I really do wish that one day I can become a billionaire and come back to one of these passages and make it come true.

a celebrity that i most admire.

The celebrity that I most admired should be the ones that are rich and popular. A more specific example should be Jay Chou a Taiwanese singer and eventually made enough money that he now directs and acts in his own movies, not only he is rich there are others but the point I’m trying to get across is that I like him mostly because I respect his wealth. Money is everything in life, except life itself. Remember that folks that is a very special quote given by the future celebrity Samson the Great. A celebrity like Jay is that he has talent in singing, mainly for his songs he got famous but he fails horribly in acting. It doesn’t matter to a guy like him because he is not even in his thirties and already ranked as one of the youngest billionaires of Asia. A celebrity with so much wealth definitely will always donate to charity or disaster affected areas, in many cases he did. But celebrity is usually judged by the amount they donate, a recent story that happened in mainland China, Si Chuan province. A massive earthquake nearly destroyed the city; Jay Chou generously from his heart donated a incredible amount of money to China. Afterward that incident a fairly huge earthquake happened in Jay Chou’s hometown Taiwan, he of coursed donated but not as much and therefore is criticized by the people of Taiwan. I admire him is that he has everything he could want due to his talent and the money he has, no one can tell him what to do and that is where I am headed.

My Favorite Holiday...

My favorite holiday is something that everyone likes as well; I’m not sure whether summer vacation would be considered a holiday but what the heck, people like it prepare for it and I guess that is celebrating it. Summer break is awesome but the real holiday that I enjoy is Halloween. Hey! I don’t like Halloween for the candy but I just like it. I don’t know what but I just enjoy it. Playing and hanging out with friends. For those pretty ladies out there reading this passage please note I’m a good looking guy, cool and smooth with the ladies. I’m not some dork writing this because I have no life but because I have to mainly for school actually it’s all for school. Now let’s on Halloween night people as in adults or teens usually hang out, Halloween is usually referred to children’s night out to get candy and have fun but also for teens and adults. Let me just brief you on what we do, maybe go to some bars chat or go to some pool bar and have a good time; usually that’s what we do. But we can do this all the time, what makes Halloween special to me is that like I said again, I don’t know. I guess I watch so much movies that deals with Halloween that I kind of wish that I was in that situation and the hero that saves pretty girls and kills bad guys, well that’s just a little fantasy that would never happen. But still hoping that it comes true, not about the part where the main character gets killed in the end but still ending up saving some and turns out to be a hero. The Halloween I pictured is hot models in vampire costumes, dressed gorgeously in some kind of outfit and appears to be screaming from danger, I would be the hero to save her from that danger but of course not ending up in a tragedy but in a awesome ending.

If i were a billionaire

If I were a billionaire I would go buy a lot of houses in many famous cities. For example, London, Japan, Hong Kong plus many more other. I would move around every week and move around from place to place like on vacation, well you can you say it is vacation for me if I were a billionaire. Beautiful models would come on to me like bees on honey; they already do anyways so I don’t know why I am bringing that back up again. I will take pretty girls with nice attitudes and basically the world’s prettiest and best women around on vacation. Like to Greece or somewhere amazing that I haven’t thought of. Many girls are very annoying and once someone is rich they won’t stop harassing you. Of course I can handle such problems because I would have so much bodyguards , I would eventually settle down with a beautiful and loving wife with two beautiful children which I would leave all my money to, I would of course donate a few to organizations that help the poor. In everyday society there are people starving and everyone knows that I would at least have a descent heart to give some to help out. I wouldn’t give out a lot of my money just to show off that I am rich or anything but I will at least give some to show my feelings for those poor starving children. The money I made shouldn’t be judged by other people just because they can’t match up with me, many average civilians judge the rich by how much money they donate, and the person who donates less gets judged down. What I am saying is that the rich does not need to pay if they don’t feel like it because it is their own money and they made it with their hard working soul and body. So stop harassing the rich and let them enjoy their money!
